Mendip Sqabox – Timperley
Our customer originally had a gas fire. We had to remove the gas fire and surround. Cut off the gas and cap off. We knocked out the opening to the correct size and installed a concrete lintel.
A granite hearth was installed to the front and back of the chamber. Our customer bought a Chesney surround that we then installed.
The house is a Victorian semi so we needed to use a Cherry picker for safety for us to drop the multi fuel liner down the stack.
Finally a Mendip Sqabox multi fuel stove was installed to give a modern contemporary look.
