Mendip Churchill – installed in Sale
Our customer had nothing only a hole that was plaster boarded. We removed all the plaster board, swept the chimney, opened up the chamber and installed a concrete lintel.
The chimney was lined with a 904 multi fuel liner. Granite hearth installed to the front and back of the chamber. Our customer didn’t want a surround and chose an oak beam. This was made bespoke to his requirements. We installed it as a floating shelf.
The Mendip Churchill was then installed , this is a contemporary stove with a curved door. Multi fuel and defra approved so you can burn smokeless coal and wood in a smoke controlled area.
Finally the day after our plasterer went in and skimmed the whole chimney breast. Now all ready for decorating. Another happy customer!
