Dru Ivar 5 kW – Wigan
Our customer had a gas fire that they wanted to replace. We removed the existing fire, cut and capped the gas off, knocked out the opening and installed a concrete lintel to support the brick work above.
Granite hearth was installed to the front and back of the chamber. Fire board attached to the inside of the chamber. Our customer wanted an Oak beam which was made bespoke to his design, size and colour. This was fitted as a floating shelf with specially designed fittings. A Dru Ivar multi fuel stove was installed. Our plasterer went in the following day to skim the whole wall for a perfect finish.
