DOWNLOAD CARRON BROCHUREWe removed the existing gas fireplace, cut and capped the gas supply. The chamber was opened up and a concrete lintel installed. A new liner was fitted. Inside the chamber, we used fireboard which can be left a light grey or painted with matt emulsion if you choose to. The hearth is a bespoke porcelain slate tile. We fitted new skirting board and installed the Carron 4.7 kW cream enamel stove with matching flue pipe. Our plasterer came in once we had finished and skimmed the whole chimney breast ready for decorating. Another fabulous install!!
