Carron Dante 5kw Buttermilk Stove
We supplied and installed a Carron Dante Stove in buttermilk, transforming a drab chimney breast and insert into the focal point of the room.
The installation was over two days as we had to remove the existing insert and open up the fireplace. We took the plasterwork back to bare brick on almost the whole chimney breast to provide space for a new decorative oak beam mantel.
We fitted a two piece slate hearthstone and fixed paintable fireboard to the back and side walls of the opening.
The stove was then fitted on top of the slate with a matching buttermilk flue outlet to complement the colour scheme. At this stage we were able to fix the oak beam before finally making the plasterwork and skirting boards good to complete the installation.
